There is a reason for that: todays chains are resistant due to the fact that they can be opened once. Then you need a cross link to close it again. As I now have a 38 in the front, I needed two more chain link. We just put a new one by closing it instead of using the cross link. The lesson is learnt! ;-)In that case, the bike has no fault…
