When I woke on Saturday morning, I was feeling much better.
Abba and her friends invited me very friendly for breakfast, to walk into the canyon near the camping and then to drive with them to Askja, which is said to be Iceland’s deepest lake.
Just beneath, Lake Viti is about 18C but was 28 degrees warm. To that time, Abba was swimming into it… She said it was strange because they were different temperature when swimming.
Afterwards, the Icelander drove back to Akureyri and I was looking for news about the region.
That was when I met four people: two North America, two from Holland.
We were sharing the same situation: in the evening the guards had closed all roads.
