Before leaving Besançon we went down again to the “old city” and had a fine coffee and some croissants. As we did want to follow the long turns of the River Doubs, we choose the more direct way over the main road.
After some dozen km, the first spoke broke, followed by the second one and another flat tire (the 3rd in 5 days) 🙁
Near Toulouse-le-château we ‘ve got the information that there would be a good bed&breakfast… and when we arrived there, the guy told us: only for two nights!! 🙁
Finally, we found a hotel on the street and could have a hot shower and something to eat.
